Yes, for every event held at the Maison de l’Océan we provide a team of security officers for people and property, fire-safety officers and personal-assistance staff.
They ensure the safety of the venue and your guests by checking entries, visually inspecting bags and making sure safety and evacuation rules are followed throughout the event.
The arrangements are drawn up by our teams and vary according to the configuration of your event and the number of guests expected.
Simply contact us through our dedicated form, specifying your needs.
Our team will then help you identify the most suitable spaces and bring your project to life in the best conditions.
We recommend sending your request as early as possible, especially for busy periods.
However, we also consider last-minute requests, subject to availability.
Access and transport
All ground-floor spaces are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Access to the third-floor spaces, however, requires the use of stairs or a small service lift. The third-floor spaces are therefore not suited to visitors with reduced mobility.

Technical
Dedicated time slots for deliveries and collections are provided by your contact person, according to the needs and technical complexity of your event.
As we cannot guarantee the availability of the spaces, we kindly ask you to respect these slots. Otherwise, deliveries or collections will be refused.
In exceptional circumstances, your contact person will find a suitable solution.
Many configurations are possible, with respect for the venue:
- Structures must be free-standing and nothing may be hung on the walls
- All installations must take emergency exits and evacuation routes into account
- Technical and audiovisual installations must be approved in advance by our stage manager
For any specific set-up, we will always offer a dedicated technical site visit to make sure it is compatible with our spaces.

Once the private hire contract is signed, we ask you to pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount including VAT. The balance is invoiced after the event and is payable within 30 days.
