TODO(DA Oceano) — the “Spécificité de l’espace” block of this page (Figma node 8867:128285) is the Salon Léon Laugier text, COPIED word for word: it describes the secretariat and Léon Laugier’s murals, not the Library. False content, therefore discarded; nothing has been fabricated to replace it.

With its tall windows, its elegant panelling and its monumental heritage table, the Library is among the most emblematic spaces of the Maison de l’Océan. The names of the great oceanographic exploration vessels that adorn its walls recall the scientific history of the place and give the events held here a setting of their own.

Especially well suited to meetings, executive committees and videoconferences, the room hosts professional discussion in a calm, well-lit environment. It can also take exclusive seated dinners around its central table or, when combined with the neighbouring Grand Salon, larger meals in an elegant and convivial layout. Its heritage character and its singular atmosphere also make it a sought-after backdrop for filming and photography.
